- Legitimate interest: website analytics, fraud prevention, and improving our services.
- Legal obligation: tax records, regulatory compliance, and responding to lawful requests.
5. Data sharing & third-party services
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with the following categories of service providers, strictly for the purposes described in this policy:
- Email delivery: Amazon Simple Email Service (SES), Microsoft 365, or Google Workspace — used to send transactional and marketing emails on our behalf.
- Cloud hosting & infrastructure: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform — where our applications and data may be hosted.

- Legal & regulatory: we may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government request.
6. Cookies & tracking technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit our website. We use the following categories:
6.1 Strictly necessary cookies
Required for the website to function (e.g., session management, security tokens, cookie consent preferences). These cannot be disabled.
6.2 Analytics cookies
Help us understand how visitors interact with our website — pages visited, time on site, bounce rate, and traffic sources. Data is aggregated and anonymised where possible.
6.3 Functional cookies
Remember your preferences such as language, region, or display settings to provide a personalised experience.
6.4 Marketing & advertising cookies
Used to deliver relevant advertisements and measure campaign effectiveness. These are only set with your explicit consent.
6.5 Managing cookies
You can manage or withdraw cookie consent at any time through our cookie banner or your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies via their privacy settings.
7. Marketing communications & your choices
We may send marketing emails using services such as Amazon SES, Microsoft 365, or Google Workspace. We will only send marketing communications where:
- You have given explicit opt-in consent (e.g., subscribing to our newsletter), or
- You are an existing client and the communication relates to similar services (soft opt-in), and you have not opted out.
7.1 How to unsubscribe
- One-click unsubscribe: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link in the footer. Clicking it immediately removes you from that mailing list.
- Email us: send a request to privacy@fusiontechsolutions.ai and we will process your opt-out within 48 hours.
- Preference centre: where available, you can manage your subscription preferences to choose which types of communications you receive.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not affect transactional emails (invoices, project updates, security notices) which are necessary for service delivery.
8. Data retention
- Enquiry data: retained for up to 24 months after the last interaction, then deleted.
- Client data: retained for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years for tax and legal compliance.
- Marketing data: retained until you unsubscribe, after which your email is suppressed (kept on a do-not-contact list) to prevent re-subscription.
- Analytics data: aggregated data is retained indefinitely; identifiable data is deleted or anonymised within 26 months.
9. Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest where applicable.
- Access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel only.
- Regular security reviews and updates to our infrastructure.
- Secure deletion of data when retention periods expire.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you become aware of a security vulnerability, please contact us at security@fusiontechsolutions.ai.
10. International data transfers
Our team operates globally and our service providers (AWS, Microsoft, Google) may process data in jurisdictions outside your country of residence. Where data is transferred internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including standard contractual clauses and data processing agreements with our providers.
