Frequently asked questions
How do I create a habit?
Tap the ➕ button on the Today screen, give your habit a name, pick a colour and a frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, or specific days), and save.
How are streaks calculated?
A streak counts the number of consecutive periods you complete a habit's goal — for a weekly goal, “6w” means six weeks in a row, not 42 days.
How do I set reminders?
Open a habit, add one or more reminder times, and allow notifications when prompted. Reminders are scheduled entirely on your device.
Where is my data stored? Is it backed up?
All your data is stored locally on your device. To protect against data loss, enable your device's backup (iCloud on iOS, Google Drive on Android).
How do I delete my account or data?
Sign out from the Profile screen to clear your stored profile, or uninstall the app to remove all habit data. We don't store any of your data on our servers.
Is Cadence free?
Yes. Cadence is free to use and contains no ads or in-app purchases.
